Main Features of this SINGER Sewing Machine

The SINGER Stylist 7258 sewing machine from Singer is definitely a hit with its countless features. First, it has an Easy-to-Load Top Drop-In Bobbin System which comes with a clear cover, making it easier to see whether you are already running out of bobbin threads. It also has an automatic tension feature which helps you use the firmness of stitches to be applied in all sorts of fabrics. It comes with an LED Light, as well, that brightens up the workspace. Its Easy Threading System is another feature to look forward to as well as its LED Screen Display which helps allows you to choose the width and length of the stitches.

What Makes The SINGER 7258 Sewing Machine Different From Others?

SINGER Stylist 7258What is very distinct about this SINGER Stylist 7258 sewing machine is that it works effortlessly with any type of fabric. Whether you are making a satin dress or a thick leather jacket, this sewing machine will run with ease. Also, the fact that it can make 100 different stitches is already something that makes it one-of-a-kind. Well, as a sewing machine from Singer, we can just always expect to get a very good performance. One can also say that this is a rare find because it allows its user to control its needle’s up and down motion, as well as its speed.

One of the best things about this SINGER Sewing Machine is that it has a metal frame which makes it tolerate heavy-duty sewing sessions. Also, having this metal frame, you can make sure that your stitches will always be created smoothly and firmly without the probabilities of fabric jams and stitch skips. Its LED display screen makes it a whole lot easier to use, as well, especially with the markings which indicate the actions that you can make. You also get a wide variety of stitches with this sewing machine. It comes with 10 presser feet, as well, which makes it less complicated for you to find the one that will suit the fabric that you are working with. It has an on-board storage, too, that makes your sewing tools come in handy.

Aside from the LED display screen on the machine, the working area is also lit up by a LED light bulb. The light bulb is already bright enough to light up the working area and you will be able to make it through the night or in places that have dim lights. The thread is also automatically wound into the bobbin and threaded into the needle. It uses a system that will do the process quickly.

I must admit that this is really a fast sewing machine. But the good thing is, it allows me to control the speed.

The 100 different stitches that this SINGER sewing machine can offer its users can be beneficial. However, it can be quite confusing, too, especially for those who are not a big fan of decorative stitches. Also, it weighs 19 pounds and with that weight, it is not that easy to bring it just anywhere. On the other hand, based on some of the reviews from people who I know is also using this sewing machine, one of this model’s downsides is that it has units which indicate error E7 – something that is not really easy to fix just by getting a Singer customer service agent. Sometimes, you will really have to ship it back to Singer just to get a unit that is working well.

It’s also hard to change the presser foot. Aside from that, the presser foot isn’t as sensitive as the ones the other Singer sewing machines have. We would love to know the reason why, but only the company can answer that. I have to be frank to say too that its price is too expensive and the company might consider going on sale for this machine.

Is The SINGER Stylist 7258 Easy to Operate?

This sewing wonder from Singer is very easy to operate. The only thing that you have to do is to go over its manual. It even comes with a DVD which can help you understand each of its features better. It is a very detailed instructional video which showcases each and every function of this sewing machine. The SINGER 7258 Stylist Free-Arm Sewing Machine also has function and action indicators on its body that make it simpler for its user to control it.

Tips for Using this SINGER 7258 Stylist Sewing Machine

If you want an error-free run when using this sewing machine, see to it that you go over the DVD and the manual before anything else. You cannot always rely on the buttons that you see on its body. You might even hurt yourself doing that. Also, before you use this, evaluate the kind of project that you will be working on. See the kind of fabric that you will be using and match it with the appropriate stitch tension and speed.

Is The SINGER Stylist Sewing Machine a Good Buy?

The SINGER 7258 Stylist 100-Stitch Computerized Free-Arm Sewing Machine is definitely a good buy. It makes effortless sewing sessions. Its metal frame is always something to look forward to, as well. For something that has so many features as this one, the amount that you will be spending to get it will totally be worth it.

As what I have said earlier in this review, this is one of my favorite sewing machines, so far. I never had major problems using it and I was nothing but productive with this baby from Singer. I was able to make the most out of the amount that I spent. I bought it three months ago and if it weren’t for the new and more expensive Singer sewing machine that I got recently, I could have still been using my SINGER 7258 Stylist 100-Stitch Computerized Free-Arm Sewing Machine until now.
